JAMMU: BJP Mahila Morcha today launched Angan Milan Seva across Jammu & Kashmir as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, with the programme scheduled to continue from September 25 to October 7.
The programme is being organised under the guidance and leadership of Adv. Neha Mahajan, State President, BJP Mahila Morcha, J&K, who is also the J&K Incharge of Angan Milan Seva. The initiative aims to strengthen grassroots outreach and connect Mahila Morcha workers with Anganwadi centres and the communities associated with them.
Speaking on the occasion, Adv. Neha Mahajan said that Angan Milan Seva is an important initiative to take the spirit of Seva, Samarpan and Sashaktikaran to the grassroots. She said that Anganwadi centres play an important role in supporting women, mothers and children, and the programme will provide an opportunity for Mahila Morcha karyakartas to interact directly with the community and contribute towards greater awareness and participation.
She said that the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, being undertaken in the backdrop of 25 years of public service of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reflects the larger spirit of dedication towards society and the nation. She called upon Mahila Morcha workers across Jammu & Kashmir to participate actively and make the outreach meaningful through sustained engagement at the grassroots.
Adv. Neha Mahajan further said that the programme will focus on strengthening community connect with Anganwadi centres and encouraging greater awareness regarding women and child welfare, nutrition, health and other related initiatives.
She urged the Mahila Morcha teams across districts and mandals to work with dedication and ensure that the message and spirit of Seva Sankalp reaches every section of society.
Those present on the occasion included Poonam Gupta, Ritu Thakur and Sunita Gupta, along with the members associated with the programme. The Angan Milan Seva will continue across Jammu & Kashmir till October 7 through various grassroots activities and community outreach programmes.
