DODA: A minor girl who was found begging was rescued by Childline here in the Doda Town.  The rescue operation was initiated after receiving information that the parents had forced the girl into begging, causing her severe depression and prompting thoughts of taking drastic measures to escape her situation.

Upon receiving the report, the Childline Doda team, under the supervision of the District Social Welfare Officer, rescued the girl averting any potential mishap. The swift response ensured the girl's safety and prevented any further harm.

Following the rescue, the team provided counseling to the girl's parents, educating them about the dangers and illegality of forced begging. The parents were sensitized to the impact of their actions on their child's well-being and future.

The rescued girl was subsequently shifted to a Child Care Institution (CCI) by the Childline team. The incident underscores Childline Doda's commitment to reaching every child in need and ensuring their rights and protection is upheld.
