JAMMU: Pawan Singh, Convenor, Urban Local Bodies (ULB), J&K BJP, has nominated the State Executive Members of the BJP Urban Local Bodies Cell for the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
The appointments were made after due consultation with Sat Sharma (CA), Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and President, J&K BJP, Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization), J&K BJP, and Ved Sharma, Incharge, BJP All Cells.
The State Executive includes names of leaders including Surinder Sharma, Subhash Chander, Vikram Singh, Munish Kumar, Surinder Sharma, Manohar Lal Bhagat, Rajesh Gupta, Narotam Sharma, Ankur Gupta, Nitin Thappa, Satpal Pappi, Varinder Singh, Rajan Sharma, Sham Lal Bhagat, Raghunandan Singh, Rakesh Sharma, Ravinder Pathani, Vikal Parihar, M. L. Bhatt, Rajinder Gupta, Rajeev Tandon, Mohd. Arif Jatt, Ankush Kumar Baru, Sunita Kumari, Pawan Bakshi, Prem Jamoria, Surinder Arora, Amit Abrol, Mohammad Hanief Bhat, Anjil Zahid, Samyaz Ahmad Sofi, Aijaz Ahmad Dhobi, Ekhlaq Ahmad Ganaie, Mukhtar Ahmad Mir, Zubair Ashraf Ahanger, Abdul Hamid Bhat, Zahoor Ahmad Lone, Mehraj Ud Din Rather.
Leaders hailed from Jammu province districts including, Akhnoor, Basholi, Doda, Jammu North, Jammu, Jammu south, Jammu Border, Kathua, Kishtwar, KDD, Nowshera, Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi, Ramban, Samba, Udhampur, and Kashmir province districts including Srinagar, Budgam, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam, Anantnag, Baramulla, Kupwara, and Bandipora have been entrusted with this responsibility.
Congratulating the newly nominated members, Pawan Singh expressed confidence that the team will work with dedication and discipline to strengthen the BJP’s organizational structure at the urban level. He emphasized that the Urban Local Bodies Cell will focus on effective implementation of party policies, addressing civic issues, and promoting good governance in line with the BJP’s vision of transparent, accountable, and people-centric administration.
He further stated that the BJP remains committed to empowering urban local bodies and ensuring inclusive development, with the newly formed State Executive playing a pivotal role in translating this commitment into action on the ground.
