SRINAGAR: In order to review the welfare measures and to redress the grievances of retired Police Officers & Next of Kins of deceased police personnel, a meeting was held by police at DPL Ganderbal.
The meeting was chaired by DySP DAR Ganderbal Shri Nazir Ahmad. During the meeting, representatives of Police Retired Officers Association & NOKs of deceased Police Personnel put forth various issues. They were heard patiently by the chairing officer and were assured that their genuine demands & problems would be taken up at an appropriate level for their redressal.
It was also made clear in the meeting that they are always welcomed for their valuable suggestions as they have rendered a long service, sacrificed and toiled hard to earn a name for J&K Police. Further, the participants were briefed about various measures taken by the department for their welfare.
The chairing officer assured the participants that J&K Police is always at their disposal. Further they were assured that they are still part of Police organization and they can approach any Police officer or Police unit at any time.
