The Survival Fight of JK Monitor: For 16 years, JK Monitor has chronicled Jammu and Kashmir with integrity. Since 2010, I have steered its newsroom alongside our visionary Founding Chairman, Dr. Priya Ranjan (IIT Kharagpur alumnus, University of Maryland Ph.D.). His tragic demise in October 2026 left a severe financial and operational vacuum. Without urgent support, our 24/7 news portal risks permanently shutting down after November 2026, remaining only as a static digital archive. We appeal to well-wishers to extend a helping hand to keep our active newsroom alive. Support Us: WhatsApp: +91-9906103001 | Email: journalistajmerwani@gmail.com

POONCH: Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment, and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, today lauded the significant contribution of Jamia Muhammadia Qasimul Uloom in promotion of education, moral values and social reformation in the society.

Javed Rana praised the management for maintaining rigorous academic standards while instilling a strong sense of discipline and service in its students. "Jamia Muhammadia Qasimul Uloom has become a cornerstone of learning and  playing a pivotal role in fostering both intellectual and social awareness," he maintained.

The Minister lauded the Jamia’s expansion plans, describing them as a necessary step to meet the community's growing educational needs. He underscored the importance of a balanced education, urging the faculty to continue mentoring the youth by blending the traditional knowledge with modern scientific understanding.

Rana reaffirmed his commitment to such initiatives, assuring that institutions dedicated to social reformation, logic-based ethics and intellectual growth would remain a key priority for the present government.
