JAMMU: Jammu Cantonment Board nominated member and Vice President Rishi Dutt Sharma visited Ward Number 6, Raipur Satwari, today and met with local residents. During the visit, the residents warmly welcomed him with great enthusiasm.
During the visit, Rishi Dutt Sharma interacted with the people of the area and gathered information about their problems and local requirements. The residents primarily demanded the repair of the cremation ground and the shed constructed there. In addition, they requested the development and necessary repair work of the park in the area, as well as the construction of a public bathroom for the convenience of the residents.
Rishi Dutt Sharma listened seriously to all the problems and demands of the local residents and assured them that all their demands had been noted and that necessary efforts would be made to resolve them at the appropriate level. He said that addressing the problems of the people in the area is among his primary responsibilities and that he would remain fully committed to issues related to public welfare.
On this occasion, former Ward Number 6 members Sardar Amrik Singh, Joginder Singh, Prashotam Singh, Charan Singh, Pyara Singh, Ranjit Singh, Sushil Chaudhary, Madan Lal, Balkar Singh, and Ajay Chaudhary, along with other prominent citizens and local residents, were present.
During the visit, local residents raised issues related to the development of the area and basic amenities as a priority and expressed hope that Rishi Dutt Sharma would help resolve them.
