KUPWARA: To improve health care scenario in far flung areas of district Kupwara, Vice Chairman DDC Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir today inaugurated two Health Centres in Kuligam block of Lolab Sub Division. At Khurhama, the Vice Chairman inaugurated New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) in presence of ADC Kupwara, M Rouf Rahman; Chief Medical Officer, CPO, BMO and large number of people.

On the occasion, the Vice Chairman said that it was a long pending demand of the people of Khurhama village which has got fulfilled after much efforts by District Administration and Health department. He congratulated the people for getting the newly upgraded NTPHC which will cater their healthcare needs. Later, the VC inaugurated newly constructed building of Sub Centre at Saiwan in presence of ADC, CMO, CPO, BMO and concerned officers. Huge number of people were also present on the occasion. Meanwhile, people living in these areas expressed their gratitude and expressed hope that these newly inaugurated healthcare centres will cater to their needs.
