PULWAMA: Police in Pulwama observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 by administering the Integrity Pledge across the district, reaffirming its commitment to integrity, transparency, accountability and ethical conduct in public service.

The pledge-taking ceremonies were organised in accordance with the directions of the General Administration Department (GAD), Government of Jammu and Kashmir, and the guidelines of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed from October 26 to November 1, 2026, under the theme ā€œProbity for Prosperityā€.

The main ceremony was held at District Police Lines Pulwama, where Senior SSP Pulwama Shri Sahil Sarangal-IPS, administered the Integrity Pledge to officers and personnel.

Similar ceremonies were conducted at police stations, police posts and other police establishments across the district, where supervisory officers led personnel in taking the pledge and reaffirming their commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct in the discharge of their official duties.

The observance underscores J&K Police’s resolve to promote transparency, strengthen accountability and foster public trust through ethical, responsible and citizen-centric policing.
