KARGIL: M3M Foundation in collaboration with YFLO Delhi is making headlines with its commitment to youth development and sports in the region of Ladakh. The philanthropic arm of M3M Group is dedicated to ensuring equal representation and support for young athletes, and their efforts have brought to light the incredible talent of Shahnaz Parveen, an International Taekwondo player from Sankoo, Kargil, UT Ladakh.

Dr. Payal Kanodia , Chairperson YFLO Delhi identified and called Shahnaz Parveen all the way from Ladakh and awarded her the prestigious Lakshya Scholarship recognising her sports excellence. Receiving the Lakshya Scholarship will fuel her aspirations to become a world champion, providing the essential support to achieve her dreams. This support includes covering all expenses related to her training, travel, and participation in national and international tournaments. We extend our gratitude to Dr. Aishwarya Mahajan , the Managing Trustee and President of the M3M Foundation, as without his support and guidance this would not have been possible.

Shahnaz Parveen expressed her deep gratitude to the M3M Foundation and YFLO Delhi for this life-changing opportunity. She shared that funding has always been the biggest obstacle in her sports career, given her family's financial constraints. With the Foundation's backing, Shahnaz is now poised to achieve her dream of becoming an Olympic medalist.

President Ladakh Taekwondo Association, Gulzar Hussain Munshi, extended his heartfelt thanks to the M3M Foundation for their unwavering support. He highlighted the financial challenges faced by the association, despite having four state awardees and numerous international players. With Ladakh's small population of 3 lakhs, generating funds for the sports sector has been difficult.

Gulzar Munshi praised their efforts in identifying and nurturing talents like Shahnaz Parveen, ensuring that the dreams of young athletes in Ladakh can become a reality. This partnership marks a significant milestone in the development of sports in the region, bringing hope and inspiration to countless aspiring athletes.
