PATNA: The Certificate Program in Generative AI for Professionals at IIT Patna has been a resounding success due to its continued trust from learners, high enrolment rates and excellent levels of satisfaction from participants throughout all cohorts.

The programme has run successfully with the completion of the first batch (May 2025 - November 2025) with an enrollment of 190 professionals and a CSAT score of 4.5 out of 5 across all modules. Building off its previous success, the second batch (August 31 - February 28) has an enrollment of 308 professionals, with a CSAT score of 4.2 out of 5. Currently, Cohort 2 is progressing through the Web App Building module and is expected to complete successfully in February 2026. Additionally, the program will continue to build momentum with Batch 4 set to begin in January 2026 , enrolling 288 professionals, demonstrating a sustained need for industry-relevant Generative AI education.

An IIT Patna representative stated that, “The ongoing success of the program represents consistency over time as well as a successful alignment of industry standards to our Generative AI Program curriculum. The program has been designed to provide working professionals with hands-on experience in using generative artificial intelligence to solve real-life problems."

Batch 4 of the program is presently in operation at the institute, and applications for Batch 5 will be accepted until 15th March 2026. This process provides practical generative AI training to improve one’s chances of being employed and to prepare them for a successful career in the future.
