In loving memory of Dr. Priya Ranjan: A mentor who treated me like family

BENGALURU: New industry research shows artificial intelligence isn’t just a buzzword, it’s reshaping how projects are planned, executed and delivered. According to recent analyses, AI-enabled project management tools are driving significant gains in delivery speed, accuracy and efficiency, with Gartner-sourced data indicating AI-assisted planning can achieve up to 82% greater timeline prediction accuracy compared with manual methods.

Meanwhile, McKinsey's State of AI Report shows that 23% of organisations are already scaling agentic AI systems (AI that can plan and execute multi‑step workflows) across at least one business function, and another 39% are experimenting with them. These capabilities increasingly support planning, scheduling, risk detection, and coordination tasks in complex projects.
