In loving memory of Dr. Priya Ranjan: A mentor who treated me like family

BENGALURU: This Women’s Day, KLAY, one of India’s leading and most trusted early childhood education brands, unveils its latest digital campaign spotlighting the strength, resilience, and professional journeys of women returning to the workforce after a hiatus. The campaign brings to life a deeply relatable narrative of a woman navigating identity, ambition, motherhood and finding purpose in shaping young lives.

The film opens in a familiar setting: a woman preparing for a job interview, reflecting on the evolution of how she introduces herself, once as a professional, then as a mother, and now, courageously, as both. As she anticipates the inevitable question about her “career gap,” the narrative gently reframes the conversation around the invaluable skills motherhood fosters: patience, resilience, adaptability, time management, and problem-solving.

The campaign underscores KLAY’s commitment to creating meaningful career pathways for women, particularly those seeking to re-enter the workforce. By recognising caregiving as a powerful source of lived leadership and emotional intelligence, KLAY reinforces the belief that professional capability is not diminished by motherhood, it is often strengthened by it.

Speaking on the campaign thought, Arshleen Kalra, Head of Academics, KLAY Preschools and Daycare, said, “Career breaks are often viewed through a lens of loss. At KLAY, we see them as periods of growth. Motherhood builds competencies that are invaluable in early education: empathy, patience, multitasking, and resilience. This campaign is a tribute to women who choose to rise again, and to workplaces that choose to recognise their strength.”

With over 180+ centres across India and a strong network of women educators and caregivers, KLAY continues to champion inclusive hiring practices and supportive work environments. The organisation remains committed to empowering women to pursue fulfilling careers while nurturing the next generation.
