NEW DELHI:  Established with a vision to bring about innovation in higher education and learning in emerging areas of the knowledge society, the University of the Future,   NIIT University (NU) is inviting applications for its undergraduate programmes for the academic year 2026, with limited seats available under the Early Admission mode. Interested students are encouraged to apply soon, as the early admission window is set to close on March 28, 2026.

Recognised as a University of the Future, NIIT University offers innovative academic programmes, global collaborations with leading institutions such as the University of Canterbury, the University of Indianapolis (UINDY), and Victoria University of Wellington (VUW), along with a strong focus on developing future-ready professionals. The university continues to provide a holistic and industry-aligned learning experience for aspiring students.

This year, the graduating class achieved 100% placement, continuing NU’s legacy of consistently preparing students for successful careers. Backed by a strong ecosystem of 830+ industry partners, NU achieved an exceptional 94% role fitment for BTech graduates and 89% for management programs, highlighting that students are not only placed but also matched to roles that suit their skills and aspirations. Students secured roles in leading organizations such as GoDaddy, AllState, Policy Bazaar, Thomson Reuters, Thoucentric, Irdeto, DSCI, Astra Security, GE Appliances, BigBasket, Edelweiss, Mercer|Mettl, S&P Global and Zebra Technologies.

Candidates with a valid JEE Main 2026 score can apply directly for admission without appearing for the NIIT University Aptitude Test (NUAT). Such candidates will participate in a faculty interaction and, upon selection, secure admission to the programme of their choice. Based on their JEE scores, eligible candidates may also qualify for merit-based scholarships of up to 100%.

Admissions are now open to new-age programmes such as BTech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, BTech Cyber Security, BTech Robotics and Automation, BTech Biotechnology, that have been designed to provide students with skill sets aligned to the future world of work. Students can also opt for BTech in Computer Science & Engineering, BTech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, 3-year BBA, BBA in Artificial Intelligence, BBA in Business Analytics and 5-years Integrated Masters in Business Administration (iMBA) programmes after class 12.

Commenting on the admissions approach, Prof. Prakash Gopalan, President, NIIT University, said, “With the early admission window closing soon, this is the right time for students to take the first step. Our admissions process goes beyond a single examination, focusing on a student’s overall potential, curiosity, and readiness to learn. We place equal emphasis on motivation, aptitude, and alignment with our interdisciplinary learning environment. Faculty-led interactions further help students understand their strengths and aspirations, enabling more informed academic choices. Through merit-based scholarships, we aim to support talented learners from diverse backgrounds as they begin a transformative journey of growth, discovery, and impact.”

With the thrust on making students job-ready, NU has made hands-on in the industry a critical part of the coursework for all the programmes in the form of industry-originated classroom projects, summer internships and the flagship six-month course – the Industry Practice. NU’s BTech programmes, in fact, give 35% weightage to practical learning opportunities. NU’s Centre for Industrial Collaboration (CIC) invites leading companies to participate in the University’s summer internship and Industry Practice programmes and ensures that the students find the right fit to their chosen career path.
