UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai today chaired a meeting to review the implementation of the credit-linked schemes in the district. The DC also interacted with the beneficiaries of credit-linked schemes to understand the challenges faced in obtaining credit from banks. Addressing their concerns, she directed the concerned officers to facilitate beneficiaries in completing documentation and other formalities to ensure smooth and hassle free access to credit.

She emphasized the need for convergence of loan cases under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund and the Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund. She also reviewed pending loan applications under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme, progress in Kisan Credit Card issuance & directed banks and allied departments to actively cooperate and ensure timely sanctioning of loans to maximize benefits for eligible beneficiaries.
