In loving memory of Dr. Priya Ranjan: A mentor who treated me like family

UDHAMPUR: To review the progress achieved under the financial inclusion and social security schemes, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee here at the Mini Conference Hall DC Office Complex.

The discussions focused in the achievements made under Mission Yuva, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, (PMSBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY).

At the outset, the Lead District Manager gave a detailed PowerPoint presentation highlighting the progress and saturation levels of financial inclusion and social security schemes in the district.

The DC conducted a bank-wise review of the registration status and coverage achieved under these schemes. She directed the bank managers to devise a clear strategy to ensure 100 percent saturation of all financial inclusion and social security schemes within the next two weeks.

The DC emphasized the importance of covering all eligible beneficiaries under these schemes to provide them with essential financial protection and social support. She further instructed the bankers to intensify awareness and registration drives so that more eligible citizens are brought under the ambit of these welfare initiatives.
