A Police party under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla, SDPO Pattan & SDPO Tangmarg assisted by SHOs of PS Baramulla, Kunzer, Tangmarg & Incharge Police Post Palhallan, seized 14 vehicles (3 Dumpers, 8 Tippers, 3 Tractors) & arrested 14 drivers involved in illegal extraction/ transportation of minerals at Khore Sherabad.
They have been identified as Riyaz Ahmad Ganie son of Mohd Subhan resident of Zehanpora Boniyar, Shaheen Ahmad Khan son of Nazim Din resident of Kanispora, Suhail Ahmad Rather son of Riyaz Ahmad resident of Delina, Hilal Ahmad son of Ali Mohd resident of Hamchipora Khag, Pir Momin son of Pir Mushtaq resident of Poshker Khag, Owais Gani Shah son of Ab Gani resident of Batapora, Aijaz Ahmad Shah son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Takia Batpora, Ab Qayoom Mir son of Gh Nabi resident of Wussan, Aijaz Ahmad Dar son of Ab Khaliq resident of Bungam, Manzoor Ahmad Reshi son of Gh Ahmad resident of Shrai, Sajad Ahmad Dar son of Nazir Ahmad resident of Jalsheeri, Mohd Iqbal Malik son of Gh Mohd resident of Drangbal, Sajad Ahmad Chopan son of Ab Salam resident of Zoogiyar & Mohd Ashraf Dar son of Noor Mohd resident of Khanpora.
