AWANTIPORA: The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) concluded its two-week “Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan” campaign today. The closing ceremony, coordinated by NSS Coordinator Dr. Tariq Ahmad Ganaie, was attended by Registrar Prof. Abdul Wahid, Deputy Registrar S. Iqbal Qureshi, Proctor Dr. Sheikh Jameel, staff and NSS volunteers.
Prof. Abdul Wahid, in his address, emphasized the importance of cleanliness in fostering a healthy society and commended the NSS volunteers for their efforts. Dr. Ganaie highlighted the campaign's activities, which included campus clean-up drives and awareness programs. The event concluded with a pledge to continue efforts towards cleanliness in both public and private spaces.
