SRINAGAR: Police in Baramulla in collaboration with the Excise Department, launched a comprehensive operation to destroy wild cannabis in the Goshbugh-Lolipora & Goshbugh-Wussan areas of Baramulla.

The joint team, comprising police officials and excise personnel, conducted destruction drive on vast tracts of land approximately 20 kanals. The team meticulously destroyed the wild cannabis, ensuring that the drugs do not reach the streets and fuel addiction.

General public has widely appreciated the initiative, acknowledging the Police's commitment to combating drug abuse. The community has urged the Police to expand the drive to other areas, demonstrating their support for the campaign.
