GANDERBAL: As part of Swachhata Pakhwada - Suchita Sangram 2024 initiative, the Department of Youth Services and Sports (YSS) Ganderbal is actively conducting a series of cleanliness drives, plantation efforts, and other sanitation activities throughout the district.
As part of this ongoing campaign, the Kangan Zone organized a significant cleanliness drive at the main market in Kangan, as well as around the premises of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Kangan.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the entire staff and student body of GHSS Kangan, who diligently worked to clean every part of their school and its surroundings.
Similarly, Government High School (GHS) Shallabugh, under the Ganderbal Zone, carried out an inspection of hand-washing facilities, water supply and sanitation. Every student at the school took part in these efforts. Such initiatives are expected to contribute significantly to environmental conservation while ensuring cleaner and healthier surroundings.
