KATRA: The School of Business, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), has added another feather to its cap as two MBA students secured Gold Badges in the NPTEL course, "Yoga and Positive Psychology for Managing Career and Life," offered by IIT Bombay. Mehak Sharma, daughter of Jyoti Kumari and Subash Kumar, and Hurain Ashraf, daughter of Gousia Jan and Mohd. Ashraf Banday completed the course with outstanding performance and earned Gold Badges.

The course, taught by Prof. Ashish Pandey, focuses on integrating ancient yogic wisdom with modern positive psychology to enhance well-being, stress management, personal growth, and professional effectiveness. The achievement reflects the commitment of SMVDU's School of Business towards nurturing well-rounded management professionals equipped with both professional competence and personal resilience.

Expressing their happiness at the accomplishment, both students conveyed their gratitude to the School of Business and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University for providing an environment that emphasizes students' holistic development. They acknowledged that such initiatives help prepare future managers and leaders to succeed in the corporate world while upholding values, mental well-being, and ethical responsibility.
