KISHTWAR: The two-day sports event, organized by the Social Welfare Department in collaboration with the Youth Services and Sports Department under the banner of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) and Nasha Mukti Bharat Abhiyaan, concluded successfully here today. The event aimed to engage and empower the youth of the region.
The tournament featured a variety of sports and activities, including tennis ball cricket, volleyball, rope skipping, and tug of war. These activities saw enthusiastic participation from students of schools from across the district, showcasing their skills and fostering a spirit of sportsmanship.
The event was conducted under the close supervision of Zubair Ahmed, District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO), who ensured the smooth and successful execution of the activities.
The collaborative effort of the Social Welfare Department and Youth Services and Sports Department contributed significantly to the promotion of physical fitness, teamwork, and social awareness among the youth, while also encouraging the spirit of healthy competition and unity.
