DODA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Harvinder Singh today visited the Sports Stadium to inspect the ongoing renovation work, including greening and pitch preparation. The DC assessed the progress of the development activities aimed at upgrading the stadium’s infrastructure. He emphasised the importance of quality work and timely completion to ensure better sports facilities for the youth and sports enthusiasts of the district.

The DC directed the concerned authorities to expedite the work and ensure that the renovation, including turf laying and other essential improvements, meets the required standards. He highlighted the significance of the stadium as a hub for sporting events, particularly cricket, and training activities, fostering a strong sports culture in the region.
