JAMMU: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Yasir Mattoo has expressed serious concern over the lack of action regarding the long-standing demand for the posting of a doctor in the Desa area of Doda district. In a statement issued here, he noted that the area has been without a doctor for a considerable time; despite repeated demands from the public, senior officials in the concerned department have remained silent. He added that while the general public is facing significant hardships due to this situation, the government continues to remain silent.
He also questioned the silence of the MLA representing the Doda West constituency on this matter, stating that the legislator appears unconcerned about the people's problems. He accused the government of ignoring the key, fundamental demands of the Doda West constituency. It is worth noting that AAP leader Yasir Mattoo has previously contested elections from this constituency and consistently raises issues of public interest. He warned the government that if this issue is not resolved immediately, he would launch a vigorous agitation against the administration.
