UDHAMPUR: District Tuberculosis Control Society Udhampur observed World TB Day 2025 by organizing a series of awareness activities aimed at educating the public about TB prevention, treatment and eradication. The Program featured a special lecture on TB awareness by District Tuberculosis Office, flagging off TB awareness van by Chief Medical officer Dr. Anil Manhas, in the presence of Deputy Chief Medical Officer, District Tuberculosis Officer and District Information Officer.        

The van will traverse across various locations of Udhampur town, disseminating TB awareness messages to educate the public on TB prevention and treatment. Similar TB awareness lectures and programs were hosted across all Medical Blocks of the District =to ensure widespread dissemination of information. Fruit and food baskets were distributed among TB patients at District TB Centre to encourage their well-being during treatment. Additionally, a special awareness program was organized at J&K Vehicleades Pvt. Ltd., engaging employees in TB awareness initiatives &  NTEP.
