KISHTWAR: The Department of Social Welfare, organized a series of impactful activities under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) and the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR) here in Sub-Division Chatroo. The event was conducted under the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajesh Kumar Shavan at the TRC Ground  and were inaugurated by SDM Nayeem Ur Rahman.

The day featured a diverse range of competitions and cultural activities, drawing enthusiastic participation from students. The activities included general awareness sessions about drug abuse, a pledge on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, drawing competitions, essay writing competitions, and quiz competitions focusing on the ill effects of drug abuse.

The event was conducted under the guidance of District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) Kishtwar, Zubair Ahmed whose leadership ensured the smooth and successful execution of the activities. The event was attended by TSWO Chatroo along with staff from Social Welfare Department. ZEO Chatroo, BMO Chatroo,   heads of educational institutes and students were present.
