- Party wants to empower displaced KPs, says Vijay Bakaya
JAMMU: Apni Party today held an interactive session with the migrant Kashmiri Pandit voters of South Kashmir, especially Shangus assembly constituency to garner support in favour of the Party’s candidate for the above stated constituency, M.K. Yogi Ji.
The Party as a part of ongoing aggressive election campaign in Kashmir as well as in Jammu’s migrant colonies and camps held a series of similar interactive sessions to educate people about the developmental policy and agenda of the party for the welfare of the migrant community for their rehabilitation, and employment of the unemployed migrant KP youth.
In this session at Durga Nagar in Jammu District, the Party’s General Secretary, Vijay Bakaya appealed to the voters to vote for M. K. Yogi, candidate of Apni Party in Shangus Constituency.
He told the audience that Apni Party was the only Party which really wanted to empower the KP displaced persons by giving M K Yogi the mandate. He said other Parties paid only lip service.
Bakay told them that Yogi was the right choice because of his grass-roots connection and passion for public service. Many other heads of organization spoke and extolled the qualities of M K Yogi and said this opportunity when KP candidate was given mandate by a regional political Party should be availed of and Yogi should be given votes whole heartedly.
MK Yogi assured he would serve the community and the people of Shangus to the best of his ability and try to bridge the gulf between Muslims and Kashmiri pandits.
