POONCH: District Development Commissioner Vikas Kundal today convened a meeting to review physical and financial progress achieved in the execution of the Border Area Development Programme (BADP) in the district. The meeting brought together officers from stakeholder departments providing a brief on the current status of expenditure, highlighting both completed and pending projects. The DDC emphasized the necessity for timely completion of ongoing initiatives.
Furthermore, the Deputy Commissioner sought updates on the physical status of ongoing projects and requested information regarding the number of completed schemes. This proactive approach aims to enhance the development efforts in the border areas and ensure that the intended benefits reach the local communities. The meeting saw participation from the Chief Planning Officer, SE PWD (R&B) and Executive Engineer JaL Shakti, who joined virtually to provide insights on roads and other projects within their respective divisions.
