- Directs to improve desired physical & financial progress of ongoing Dev. works
SHOPIAN: To review the physical and financial progress of developmental projects and works under the District Capex Plan for the ongoing year (2024-25) in the district, the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar today chaired a meeting of officers at Mini Secretariat Shopian. The DDC took review of physical and financial progress of ongoing development projects and works under execution in the district pertaining to various departments.
During the meeting, Shahid Saleem emphasized the need for efficiency in the project lifecycle, urging officers to expedite the execution process and improve the financial progress immediately. Different development projects including roads, bridges, water supply & power augmentation works, drainage networks, playgrounds & recreation facilities, irrigation works, street lights and other infrastructure development works in schools, health centers & rural development works, etc are under execution in the district under the District Capex. The review meeting was attended by ADDC Shopian, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone and various district/sectoral officers/ block officers.
