SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) on Thursday expressed its appreciation to the Controller Examination Office of Kashmir University (KU) for launching a mobile helpline dedicated to addressing students' examination-related queries.
This newly introduced service allows students to navigate through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system and directly connect with a representative for personalized assistance.Launched recently, the helpline represents a significant improvement in the communication between the university's examination office and its students.
By dialling the designated helpline number, students can quickly receive responses to concerns about exam schedules, results, re-evaluation, and other exam-related matters.Associations' National President, Ummar Jamal, praised the initiative by the Controller Examination, KU, Dr. Majid Zamaan, stating,
"We are deeply thankful to the Controller Examination Office for launching this mobile helpline. It will greatly enhance student support services, providing them with quick and efficient access to important information. Students who previously had to spend days navigating the examination process will now be able to resolve their queries efficiently by simply calling the helpline number, eliminating the need to waste their valuable time."Jamal further highlighted the earlier introduction of the Single Window Clearance System (SWCS) at the KU main campus.
"The SWCS, which was implemented to streamline examination-related processes and improve student convenience, is another commendable initiative. Together, both the helpline and SWCS will significantly benefit the student community by making their interactions with the examination office more efficient and hassle-free," he added.
We hope to see more such developments in the future that prioritize student welfare and streamline essential processes", he added further.
