BARAMULLA: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sopore, Dr. S.A. Raina, today conducted an extensive visit to Bomai Zaingair and assessed the status of the public infrastructure and essential services on the ground.

During the visit, the ADC inspected various sites and reviewed the progress of developmental works and public facilities. He interacted with local residents and members of the Civil Society, who apprised him of the issues affecting the area and sought early redressal.

The ADC inspected the ongoing construction work of the Government Degree College, Bomai, and directed the concerned executing agency to expedite the pace of work and ensure its completion within the stipulated timeframe.

Dr. Raina further inspected Budshah Pond and Kroot, where he instructed the concerned department to initiate the required dredging works to restore the water bodies and improve their condition.

Reviewing the condition of civic infrastructure, the ADC directed the executing agencies for completion of the roof construction of the existing water supply scheme, and on-time completion of the Edipora Bridge.
