RAMBAN: Sub-Divisional Magistrate Gool Imtiaz today chaired a meeting to review arrangements for the Independence Day 2026 celebration in Sub-Division Gool. The SDM directed all departments concerned to ensure comprehensive arrangements at the main venue, Government Higher Secondary School Ground Gool.
The Rural Development Department was directed to maintain sanitation at the venue and surrounding areas, the Power Development Department to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply and illumination of important government buildings and the main venue, the Information Department to install the public address system and ensure media coverage, and the Jal Shakti Department to provide drinking water for participants and visitors.
The Police Department was directed to make security arrangements, regulate traffic and establish parking facilities. Block Medical Officer Gool was instructed to deploy medical teams, keep ambulances on standby and ensure emergency healthcare services throughout the event.
Among those present were Tehsildar Gool Harjeet Singh, SDPO Gool Kuldeep Raj, Naib Tehsildar Gool Intekhab Ahmed, other Naib Tehsildars, Principal HSS Gool Manzoor Ahmed, BMO Gool Dr Mohd Iqbal, Treasury Officer Gool Shokat Ahmed Bhat, AEE PWD Parvinder Singh and representatives of all line departments.
