• Instructs officers to ensure timely target achievements to cover all eligible beneficiaries

BUDGAM: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Athar Aamir Khan, today chaired a meeting to review the progress of registration and implementation of Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan (PM-SYM) and other Financial Inclusion Schemes inclduing PMJDY, PMJBY and APY in the district.

At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner stressed upon all concerned departments to ensure 100 percent coverage of all eligible beneficiaries under PM-SYM and directed officers to complete assigned targets in a time-bound manner.

The DC also reviewed department-wise progress under PM-SYM and took stock of the implementation of PMSBY, PMJJBY and APY. He instructed for coordinated and proactive efforts to improve registration and ensure effective implementation of the schemes at the grassroots level.

The concerned departments were directed to substantially improve their performance before the next review meeting. It was also decided to include the District Industries Centre (DIC), Budgam in the implementation and review process. The meeting was attended by ADDC, CPO, GM DIC, PO ICDS, CMO, ALC, and concerned officers and representatives of the departments.
