SRINAGAR: n continuation to Plantation Drive, in the loving memory of J&K Police Martyrs under the theme “Ek Paed Shahedoun Ke Naam”, police organised plantation drives in Ganderbal and Awantipora.
On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS, police in Ganderbal alongwith Sindh Forest Division Ganderbal organised plantation drive at various schools of the district. The plantation drives were held in the schools premises at Govt. Hr. Sec. School Wakura, Govt. Hr. Sec. School Nunner, Saki Akbar High School Wayil Wooder & Govt. Middle School Waskura.
On the occasion, SP Hqrs Ganderbal Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS, DySP DAR DPL Ganderbal Shri Nazir Ahmad, Principals of the schools, NOKs of police martyrs, officers of police & Sindh Forest Division Ganderbal and school students participated with zeal and zest.
Moreover, plantation drive was also organized by Awantipora Police in the name of Police Martyrs at Govt. Higher Secondary School Hariparigam in which DySP DAR Awantipora alongwith SHO Awantipora and Forest Range Officer Hariparigam including family members of martyrs participated.
The main aim behind such Plantation Drives is to get at least one tree planted in the name of J&K Police Martyrs and to memorize their sacrifices in the line of duty and paying rich tributes to them.
