BARAMULLA, SOPORE: Continuing its sustained campaign against narcotics under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, Police carried out a wild cannabis (bhang) destruction drive along the roadside at Village Noorkhah in Baramulla and Sopore.

During the operation, naturally grown wild cannabis was identified and destroyed on the spot to prevent its misuse and curb the spread of narcotic substances. Meanwhile in Sopore, joint Police, Revenue & Excise teams destroyed wild cannabis at Rohama to eliminate potential sources of narcotics.

J&K Police remains committed to eliminating the drug menace through sustained enforcement and community participation. The general public is urged to support the campaign by sharing information about the cultivation or trafficking of narcotic substances with the nearest police station.
