GANDERBAL: The Sankalp Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mission Shakti Ganderbal Saturday organized an awareness camp at New colony Tulamulla focusing on women-centric schemes including Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) initiative, and Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) enablement with Aadhaar authentication.  This camp aimed to educate women about various government schemes designed for their benefit and empower them through knowledge.

The event included detailed presentations on schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, interactive Q&A sessions and distribution of informational material.

A significant portion of the camp was dedicated to promoting the BBBP initiative. The event also highlighted the importance of DBT and how Aadhaar authentication ensures benefits reach the rightful recipients. Demonstrations on Aadhaar linking processes and on-spot registration facilities were provided to help attendees understand and complete the necessary procedures.

The camp saw active participation from women of various age groups and backgrounds, as well as representatives from local self-help groups. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with participants appreciating the informative sessions and support offered by the department.
