UDHAMPUR: An awareness programme was organized by Sankalp Hub for Empowerment of Women under Social welfare Department Udhampur at Upper Kawa.    The event aimed to educate people about various women centric schemes running in District Udhampur. The whole programme was organised under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai and overall guidance of District Social Welfare Officer Kanika Gupta.   

During the programme, HEW team provided information about Mission Shakti schemes such as Childline (1098), Women Helpline (181), and One Stop Centers. Around 70 Participants were present in the program who were given comprehensive information about women-centric schemes and their documentation requirements. At last, plantation drives were organised by Social Welfare Department in which four plants were planted by the HEW team in the name of baby girls under the banner of BBBP.
