KULGAM: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan Tuesday conducted a visit to D.H.Pora to review the progress of the new Sub-District Hospital (SDH) building.  During the visit, the DC assessed the pace of the ongoing construction, and instructed the officers to accelerate their efforts to ensure the timely completion of the hospital building.

It was informed that the estimated cost of the new SDH building is Rs.11.34 crore, with an expenditure of Rs.6.10 crore incurred to date. The DC emphasized the importance of adhering to the project timelines and urged the officers to expedite the remaining work.

The completion of the new SDH building is expected to significantly enhance the healthcare infrastructure in the region, providing improved medical facilities to the local population. Accompanying the DC were ADC, Viqar Ahmad Giri; SDM, Tehsildar and other officers.
