JAMMU: Former Corporator Sucha Singh extended strong support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his decisive actions in safeguarding the nation and countering terrorism.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Sucha Singh praised the Prime Minister’s inclusive leadership, emphasizing that Modi is leading the country by taking everyone along and making decisions thoughtfully in light of the current national and international situation.

Singh noted that at a time when tensions are high across the nation, especially along the borders, the steps being taken by the Central Government are well-calculated and necessary.

“For the first time, we have a Prime Minister who has taken bold and historic steps to break the back of terrorism,” he said, lauding the measures as praiseworthy and timely. Highlighting specific actions, Singh commended the government’s move to stop Pakistan’s water supply, suspend trade with Pakistan, and halt cross-border letters and communication.

“These steps are unprecedented and reflect the government’s strong resolve to send a clear message to Pakistan,” he added. Singh argued that diplomatic measures alone will not yield results as Pakistan continues to betray India by supporting terrorist activities. “Pakistan repeatedly stabs us in the back; therefore, giving a strong and befitting reply has become necessary,” he asserted. “There is no solution left except war.”

Drawing parallels with historic epics, Singh remarked, “Just as the Mahabharata and Ramayana concluded with wars, similarly, Pakistan’s chapter must end. Peace cannot be achieved without decisive action.” He further expressed confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah,  Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and the central leadership, stating that every decision they are taking is aimed at securing the country’s future.

“I wholeheartedly appreciate and support the Prime Minister, the Defence Minister, and all leaders for the bold decisions they have taken for the betterment of our nation,” Singh concluded.
