BARAMULLA: Police in Baramulla, demonstrating prompt response and commitment towards the safety and welfare of children, ensured the safe reunification of a 10-year-old minor boy with his parents after he was found roaming unattended at Mahrajpora, Kongamdara.
The minor was initially unable to provide his home address or contact details. He was brought to Police Post Kongamdara and kept under protective care while efforts were made to ascertain his identity and locate his family.
During the course of these efforts, the boy was identified and his family was contacted. Following due verification, the minor was safely handed over to his parent under proper receipt.
Police remains committed to ensuring the safety, protection and welfare of children and urges the public to promptly inform the police about any unattended or vulnerable child.
