AWANTIPORA: Students from Food Technology Department of Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) have bagged internship from reputed MNCs including ITC, NESTLE, Mondelez International, Pepsico, Cococola, Shreiber and others.

With a focus on experiential learning the interning students shall  gain first hand experience of working of the food industry. The Industry internships are aimed to help students imbibe entrepreneurial spirit  and inspire them to  set up their own ventures.

Dr Aamir Hussain Dar, Coordinator Industry Connect said that Industry Internships form part of Course structure to enable students to learn the practical and application aspects of their course. He said that University facilities extended Internships for students to better their placement.
