Police seizes 02 vehicles involved in illegal extraction of minerals in Awantipora

AWANTIPORA: In continuation of its ongoing drive against illegal mining, Police in Awantipora have seized 02 tippers used in illegal excavation and transportation of minerals in Khrew.

Acting tough against the persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, Police party of Police Station Khrew headed by SHO PS Khrew seized two tippers bearing registration numbers JK19-0409 & JK04C-0882 involved in the crime. Accordingly, a case vide FIR NO. 73/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Khrew and further investigation has been initiated.
