SRINAGAR: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir organized a Shradhanjali Sabha at Church Lane, Srinagar, to pay tribute to the 26 innocent civilians who were brutally killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22nd April 2025. While paying the tributes, Sat Sharma stated, “These tourists came here in trust and peace, and their murder is a crime against humanity. We grieve with their families and promise that their sacrifice will not be forgotten.” Ashok Koul added, “Terrorists want to instill fear and divide us, but Kashmiris will never allow such darkness to overpower the spirit of our land. We stand united in mourning and in resolve.”

Sunil Sharma strongly condemning the heinous act said, “Brutality has crossed all limits of humanity. Their actions are a direct attack on the values we hold dear as a society”. All speakers emphasized the need for national unity, stronger security measures, and a firm stance against terrorism to ensure such heinous crimes are never repeated. The BJP leadership expressed deep solidarity with the victims’ families and called upon society to collectively work toward peace and justice. The Sabha concluded with collective prayers for the departed souls and reaffirmation of the BJP’s commitment to a terror-free, peaceful Jammu & Kashmir.
