JAMMU: The single message that signifies the agenda of the cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah this week is continued discrimination with the Jammu region. While Kashmir province gets clear cut proposals of estimated cost of total value more than the Jammu region gets approval worth just estimated cost, said Girdhari Lal Raina.

Girdhari Lal Raina, Spokesperson, J&K BJP accompanied by Balbir Ram Rattan, Spokesperson and Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Media Secretary was addressing a press conference at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. Media reports suggest that the J&K Council of Ministers, which met under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister in the Civil Secretariat on January 20, 2025 cleared all the proposals in its agenda.

Construction of a new hospital block for the emergency operation theatre at SMHS Hospital, Srinagar and proposal regarding dispensing with oral tests or interviews for posts in pay level-6, as recommended by the J&K Service Selection Board too were approved by the cabinet, sources said
