JAMMU: Sat Sharma CA, President Jammu and Kashmir BJP, stated that sports serve as a powerful tool for personal growth, career development, and societal impact. He expressed these views in a programme, of the felicitation of some outstanding sport persons of Jammu and Kashmir. This felicitation programme was organized by BJP SC Morcha Chandigarh prabhari & Morcha national executive member Surinder Bhagat and attended by General Secretaty & Ex MLC, Vibodh Gupta, former minister, Smt. Priya Sethi, Additional Treasurer, Prem Gupta, party spokesperson, Balbir Ram Rattan, senior leaders Baldev Singh Billawaria and Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra.
In this programme, Raju Sharma was felicitated for being elected as President J&K Amateur Baseball Association for 2nd term for 4 years. Gh. Hassan was feicitated for being elected as Senior Vice President J&K Amateur Baseball Association and Basit Nabi for being elected as Umpire in the Forth coming International and South Asia Soft Tennis Championship to be conducted at Greater Noida in coming days.
Sat Sharma said that with increasing opportunities in the global sports, young players, athletes and professionals are encouraged to pursue sports not just as a passion but also as a viable career. He said the Sports play a crucial role in promoting physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, and leadership.
