UDHAMPUR: Career Counselling and Guidance Cell Government College for Women Udhampur, in collaboration with Canara Bank, organized an awareness programme on career in banking and financial products. Babita Kumari and Shivani Gupta Banking associate were the key resource persons.
They gave a detailed presentation about the financial products available with banks. The officials also offered the facility of zero balance account opening in Canara Bank which would help the students gain speedy financial inclusion.
Earlier, Dr. Ajay Kumar Shamra HoD Mathematics presented the formal welcome address and gave a brief description about the various activities undertaken by the Career Counseling Cell GCW Udhampur.
The programme ended with the formal vote of thanks by Dr Ravinder Kumar convener of Career Counseling and Guidance Cell. Among others present were Prof Yash Pal HOD History, Prof Mushtaq Ahmad Department of Hindi, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Prof Yash Kumar Department of Music, other faculty members and a large number of students also participated in the programme.
