REASI: In a significant initiative to promote road safety, a bike rally was organized today under the directions of Transport Commissioner J&K Vishesh Paul Mahajan and Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik. The rally was flagged off from the DC office Complex by ADC Kulbushan Khajuria, along with ARTO Neeraj Sharma and other officials from the Motor Vehicle Department. The event was held as part of the ongoing Road Safety Month (1st to 31st January 2025) and aims to spread awareness about the importance of adopting road safety measures to prevent accidents.
Key guidelines were highlighted to promote safer driving practices. Participants were reminded to wear ISI-approved helmets, ensure the use of seat belts, maintain vehicle fitness, and carry valid documents. Emphasis was also placed on avoiding dangerous behaviors such as driving under the influence, triple riding, rash or negligent driving, and allowing minors to drive and Ensuring proper adherence to traffic rules.
