DODA: Principal, District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Doda, Rajesh Kumar, along with his staff, visited educational institutions across Zones Doda and Bhagwah on Thursday. Schools covered included Government Primary School Bijarni, High School Bijarni and PM SHRI High School Gadi, among others.
The team monitored the academic functioning of the schools and reviewed implementation of key initiatives under the National Education Policy 2020, with particular focus on classroom teaching practices, student engagement and learning outcomes. The team also assessed the impact of teacher training programmes on classroom delivery and evaluated teachers' performance in strengthening the teaching-learning process. The Mid-Day Meal scheme was inspected to ensure quality, hygiene and proper service to students.
While interacting with staff and students, the team provided on-the-spot academic guidance and constructive feedback to improve instructional practices and enhance overall student development.
