JAMMU: Recently a fire incident has took place in the GRID Station Lalyana due to electric short circuit a 50 MVA transformer set on fire and was totally damaged effecting large scale population of Bishnah Constituency and surrounding areas of Bishnah. The area was totally under darkness with this incident but MLA Bishnah Dr Rajeev put his best efforts and pressing hard to the GRID Station authority to restore the electricity of the people without fail.
Dr Rajeev MLA was monitoring all the situation and he was online with the engineers with the results at incidental night with the efforts of engineers the electricity was restored at 8.30 PM. Today to review the present situation Dr Rajeev MLA visiting GRID Station Lalyana along with Executive Engineer GRID Station along with his team MLA direction them 50 MVA transformer to be upgraded upto 100 MVA and backup two transformers be ready available for emergency period. And also directed the engineers to make necessary DPR for upgradation and include this for the emergent plan.
The Executive Engineer assured the MLA we will put up forward his demands to the next higher authority for providing necessary funds for installation of 100 MVA transform plus two backup transformers for emergency period.
