- Delegation visits Tariq Baktooâs home to express condolences and sympathy
SRINAGAR: The Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) has expressed deep sorrow over the sad demise of Haji Ghulam Ahmad Baktoo, father of Tariq Baktoo, Chairman of Kashmir Harvard School, Srinagar. He passed away on Wednesday, 1st January 2025. A delegation from PSAJK, comprising President G. N. Var, Prof. Dr. M. A. Shah from NIT, Senior Edu Leader and Executive Member Er. Muhammad Shahid Dar and other dignitaries, visited the bereaved family in Sadarbal, Srinagar, to offer condolences and express solidarity with Mr. Tariq Ahmad Baktoo and his grieving family.
Haji Ghulam Ahmad Baktoo was a pious individual with a kind heart. His unwavering commitment to community upliftment has left an indelible mark on the lives of countless people. Expressing his sympathy, G. N. Var said, âHaji Ghulam Ahmad Baktoo Sahab was a pious and humble personality, always ready to help the poor and weaker sections of society. He was a guide and an inspiration to all who knew him. His life embodied the values of faith, service and compassion. His contributions to society will forever be remembered.â
The PSAJK executive body, along with district presidents, office bearers, and general members of schools, extended heartfelt condolences to the Baktoo family, the faculty of Kashmir Harvard School. The association stands united with them during this time of profound loss. âWe pray to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive his shortcomings, grant him Jannat-ul-Firdous, and provide strength to his family to endure this great loss.
