SHOPIAN: A free Medical cum Cancer awareness camp was today organized at Hushinpora village by Ayush Shopian. The camp was held as per directions of Director Ayush, J&K, Dr. Nuzhat Bashir and under the supervision of District Nodal Officer, AYUSH Shopian, Dr. Javaid Ahmad Wani.
The camp was attended by staff of Ayush, Health and Wellness centre, Dachoo and Ayush Unit Shopian. During the camp, a number of patients of the area were provided free consultations, medical check-ups and medicines.
The Medical Officers also conducted an awareness session on cancer and its causes and prevention. The initiative was well-received by the local community and appreciated as a significant step towards improving healthcare services in the area.
